S5 Nuke Heidemarie (Beginner Friendly)

This deck revolves around turning Heidemarie into a massive single-hit damage dealer, using Orlea and Tiphera to amplify her damage while generating enough resources to execute the combo consistently.

Unlike a traditional Heidemarie build, which focuses on repeatedly playing Effulgent Blades, this setup is designed to generate, exhaust and scale those blades into one devastating finishing attack.

General turn by turn:

1. Generate your Effulgent Blades

Use all four Effulgent Expansions where possible. Each generates six blades in the Discard Pile, giving you 24 blades for your finishing attack.

2. Set up Orlea's buffs

Develop your Softies and retain them until the final turn. If you're struggling with hand space, feel free to play a Softie or two. Don't worry, you'll still have more than enough damage to nuke your target. Make sure to apply Vulnerable before your finishing attack. Growth Acceleration can trigger a Retain effect twice, making it particularly valuable for stacking Vulnerable and reaching the 350% Softie damage cap.

3. Cycle and amplify with Tiphera

Use Quantum Seed and Gear Bag for card draw and AP, while Dual Creation helps you access more Archetype cards. Use Event Horizon to prepare the finishing attack. Note: Ensure you have 10 Triangle buff stacked before the final turn.

On the final turn:

Move Effulgent Compression to the Graveyard three times to accumulate Effulgent Light and transform it into Effulgent Release. You can use Linked interactions to help accomplish this.

Apply final buffs and unleash the nuke

Once the blades are in the Graveyard and your damage buffs are ready, use Effulgent Release.

Deck Building Notes:

• If you're struggling for draw somehow, you can change the Sword Rain for the one with Retain but this will generate you less blades for the overall nuke
• If turn 1 is bricky, you can take out the non divine Quantum Seed for 2 more Gear Bags (1AP)
• For Hero to All I usually link the Persona card and maybe a gear bag for smoother turn 1
• Orlea's Upgrade Sacred Censer is less Softies but smoother turn by turn rotation, if you get too many Swifties your run may be bricked due to hand size anyway.
