This is a 1 turn setup DPS Maribell deck and can do 150K+/turn
To get the Owen deck, you need to not trigger at least 1 epiphany and the missing epiphany cannot be Wind Riding.
Sphere of Randomness isn't necessary on Owen because you can do the 1 turn setup without it and it's unlikely you'll reach the shield limit, but it helps raises the potential of this team.
You should be playing Voluntary Control at the end of the turn.
Prioritize using Wind Charge and cards that give resolve, then Shackles of Hunger, then Shelter Strike.
Bottomless Hunger is ideally used when you have at least 1 Wind Charge in hand.
20 extra faint memory on Maribell for future seasonal items.
You can also replace the gear bag on Narja for future seasonal items.

You can't put divine on maribell upgrade sadly. check the very last deck i sent in the old thread. it's the one you're trying to reach. the one you sent here don't have enough ap.
Mine does have enough ap because you only need 9 ap. Maybe you didn't see the 4th Wind Charge have a different epiphany.
Your last deck is better still. I'll try seeing how the Persona Card engravings work
oh right mb, it was the double skill wind charge 🥀. anyway yeah i'm farming the engraves right now to put an end to this. Will it be a top or a flop ? we'll know soon 🥴 if you drop multiple of the engrave onto a same char before me, i would love if you could tell me how it act 🫡
The engraving works with multiple copies on the same character 💀
I still need to see if another character having the engraving will add more draw
Edit: It does
For the Persona card engravings on Narja, they only activate for one card, so one of the Shackles shields for a lot while the others make significantly less shield.
I still think that 4000-5000 shield is still possible with Corrupted Core retaining 20% of the shield, Owen helping out with shielding, and some resolve on Maribell; however, I think that the shield will be in the mid 3000s especially if we get hit.
Now with that info that mean the deck should work in theory. And that the engraving is secret op in fso. Prolly one of the best you can get on your rei/narja/w.e else. People without Sylvia could just do this and it would do around the same. It cost little setup and little FM. It only cost your char engraving slot ; and there is a pretty good amount of char in many comps that have kinda nothing else very impacting to take,so... yeah i think it’s good. Anyhow, i didn’t really get if you tested the persona interaction with shackle exactly or not Did you tested if the persona blessing buff the whole shackle, and not the only first proc ? That’s one point i was scared about, that the blessing buff the first shield proc, but not the other repeated shield application of the shackle, with the game maybe considering the repeat of shackle as "a separate other use of a card".
Shackles was a 352% x 4, and it gave a 1844 shield; it works for all repeats.
Aight thanks 👍
Yes i knew the persona was blessing only a single shackle. It say it on the effect (and i also tested) But overall thanks anyway for the time saver !! 🙇♂️
After testing how the engravings work, I don't think that draw is a problem, however I think the shields are lacking.
If the shields can't get past 4000, the 6 hit Shelter Strike build is better assuming it could reach 6000 shield (4000 x 8 = 32000, 6000 x 6 = 36000).
Even with 5000 shield, the 8 hit version is only a little over 10% better. If Owen was a Controller or Ranger, he could also have the Blessings of Light, then the shield situation would be a lot better.
It’s the best you can take to push resolve i believe https://cznmetadecks.com/team/24a31e5ef7cb3da815b7bd434e4e92e29542ee019d9c6fe774ca3783257c2b06 Come at the price of coming back to 7 brick.
2 Resolve is like a 600 shield + 120 (from Corrupted Core). When I played Maribell, Tiphera, and Veronica, my deck had 7 bricks and 4 Reposes with draw 1. In 10 turns, I would brick probably only once. I estimate the 6 brick deck to brick 1/2 times (can be solved with partners), and the 7 brick deck to brick 2/3 times (probably 1 unsolvable brick)
Assuming 5000 shield and a 1 turn setup (Totaling 9 playable turns), here's the cost of 720 shield and 1 brick versus no extra shield and no bricks:
Even if you completely brick on 1 turn with the 7 brick deck, it's better assuming you only brick 1 or fewer times than the 6 brick deck. However, I still think the 6 brick deck is better (This is not counting the total shield being lower because Corrupted Core couldn't retain much, so the 6 brick deck might be better; Also the 720 shield gets better if you use a lower total shield amount).
Here are my calculations for the total amount of shield per turn for your deck (6 brick version):
1344% + (200% (Blessing of Light) x 4 activations = 2144%)
Assuming a 1:1.3 conversion - 2144% x 1.3 = 2787 shield
Assuming a 1:1 conversion - 480 total shield
3267 x 1.25 = 4084 shield (Highest shield you can get with Corrupted Core
(4084 x 0.2 = 817; 817 + 3267 = 4084)
My shield conversions aren't exact, but they are close to the conversion rates that my Narja and Owen use. It's worth noting that my Narja has 515 Defense and uses a Ego 5 Tiana for 24% Defense, so your total shield might be lower.
As mentioned before, this isn't enough shield to justify using this 8 hit deck over the 6 hit deck, which is why I wanted more resolve. If getting more resolve makes your deck more bricky, it'll probably just balance out the gain from the resolve.
The only way I can see the 8 hit version being better is if you use the 7 brick version and only brick 2 or fewer times and have 2 partners that can unbrick you. If the fight is longer than 10 turns, the 8 hit deck gets worse, but no content in the game right now should take over 10 turns.
Even with all of this, I only estimate the 7 brick version to be about 7% better (38400/36000; (4084 + 720) (shield) x 8 (hits) = 38400).
This isn't even considering how much closer than damage would be if we gave the 6 hit version 12% crit damage and 6% crit chance from the equipment in swamp.
Do you have like... very good memory frag ? Or atleast assuming it in your calcs ?
This was assuming that everything was the same: Ego 1, Passion Cup, and Crit Damage (I didn't include the crit dagger to help simplify the process).
The only difference was the shield amounts, so I could just take the shield amount and multiply it by the number of Shelter Strike hits to get the total damage per turn.
(Why did the notification cut off after memory 😭)
