It is highly recommended to play with Hugo because her own damage will often take longer to clear content than most units, with her main advantage over alternatives like Luke being that she can also act as a pseudo buffer since Psionic gets access to neutral morale epiphanies and better neutral cards than many other classes; however, variations that are more consistent (just divine draw or cost-reduction on Oni Hunt x4 instead of neutral cards and morale epiphanies) are also often used--which is the recommended deck because people don't really try to push damage on this unit, at this point.
